Sunflowers
Another reason I love the end of summer, beginning of fall is for all of the sunflowers that are everywhere! These were my grandpas favorite flower and so they definately remind me of him.

I drove to Escalante to visit my friend Nikki for one of my weekends. It is a pretty drive to the middle of nowhere that is for sure! This is in Bryce Canyon after you get off Hwy 89. On the way there I stopped in Cedar and hung out for a while, because Nikki and Rob wouldnt home til later that night. Then I just met up with them in Cedar and followed them to Escalante that night. It was good to be down there have a change of scenery for a few days. I went and played bunco with Nikki, Jenny and their friends while I was there and I won the losers prize, even after getting 5 buncos. Sad I know. But it was fun anyways.

No more texting while driving. . .
So my texting while driving has gone down significantly ever since this accident that I had to dispatch for. This happened 10 minutes after I sat down first thing in the morning. If this doesnt warn you to stop texting, being distracted while driving then I dont know what will. It was a triple fatal accident to those in the white car. Sad.

Fall colors
Fall is by far my most favorite time of the year, the leaves changing the weather getting cooler, and sweater season!!! I love sweaters and being warm. Provo canyon was beautiful for a few weeks, still is just the colors are not as vibrant as they were at the beginning. I took more pics but once again, they are on the other camera so I will have to upload them another day.

Mirror Lake
On Sept 16 my sister, bro-in-law and nieces all got sealed in the SLC temple. So my family came up for that, the sis-in-laws werent able to make it but my bros did, and we had fun. My brothers stayed with me the night before then we drove to SLC in the morning for the sealing. Michael had to fly out right after the temple and Heath and the parents went back to SJ the next day. Vickie then stayed with me for a couple more days. I had to work so I hardly saw her and the girls, just at night when I got home. It was good to have them here, it always is. Here are a few pics that I took from that day.

Labor Day Weekend
For Labor Day I went to Arizona, we went camping and got wood and did corn. A lot of corn. I went on Friday, drove to AZ then when I got there, put all my stuff into a different car and drove the truck up the mountain. Heath and Selina were already up there, so they stayed for a while then went back to town. Dad, mom, Vickie me and the girls stayed and camped. Carolisa and I camped in my tent and dang it was cold! It rained and rained and rained. The thunder was another story cuz it did that too! But Carolisa did not wake up, well she did but then she would just go back to sleep. But she was pretty excited in the morning that she slept in the tent all night long. My parents and Vickie stayed in my Dads camper trailer that he got. In the morning we got a load of wood and then it started to rain and we headed back to SJ. Coletons Bday party was that day so we went and watched him eat his cake and open some presents. Monday my dad, Heath and I went to Taylor to pick some corn so we could freeze it. I think we got a little carried away cuz we packaged 183 bags of corn, 2 cups in each bag. I had carpo-tunnel for a week after! If I thought it was getting bad before the corn well I was wrong cuz its way worse now. All my pics from this trip are on my other camera that I dont have with me so I will have to add the pics later.
